Practical consulting
True Trust Line
The unglamorous work that actually moves things.
We work with a small number of clients at a time so the person you meet is the person who does the work.
The practice covers strategy, planning and operations, and has been based in Burlington, Vermont since 2000.

How engagements are run
Written scope first
Nothing starts without a short brief we both sign off. It states what is included, what is not, and what we need from you to hold the dates.
Priced per engagement
We quote the piece of work, not the hour. If the scope moves we price the change and tell you before we do it — never in the invoice afterwards.
The person you meet does the work
No handover to a junior team after signature. That is the practical limit on how many clients we take at once, and we would rather keep it.
Start with a conversation, not a proposal
Tell us the decision you are facing. If we are the wrong people for it you will know inside a day, and it will not cost you anything. See how we handle what you send us in our privacy notice.
